We have had our wonderful dog, Bo, for over 14 months now and they have been so full of love and joy that I cannot even remember what we did before we had him now. He truly is my puppy and I baby him perhaps a bit too much but he deserves it. Except when he doesn’t. Sure, it took some time to house train Bo. He had his share of accidents and we did our share of carpet spot cleaning. Even though we cleaned and cleaned the stains had set in. We were left with these loving reminders of our potty training days with Bo…
So when I was offered a $100 Gift Card to Stanley Steemer I jumped at the chance to have our carpets cleaned! I was so excited because we were having family over for the holidays and this would be a great way to tidy up our house after the company had come through and perhaps had their food spilling accidents on our carpet. And the best part, we would have a great opportunity to try and get rid of our pet’s accident spots!
The Stanley Steemer cleaners came this morning and did such a great job that I would highly recommend them to go into your house to clean! We had them clean up our dining room, family room and one of the kids bedrooms. Bo had previously taken to using each of them as a toilet at one time or another throughout his 14 months with us, or there was a lot of traffic spotting to be dealt with. I watched them with my fingers crossed that the majority of the stains would come out and thankfully, they did!
No, the stains didn’t come out 100% and that was by no fault of Stanley Steemer at all, they were old, set in stains that we had tried to clean on our own. Stanley Steemer’s workers did manage to get out all of the wear and tear dirt on our carpets and they left our house the same way they found it. Bo’s stains are not so apparent anymore, thanks to Stanley Steemer.
Even Bo had a great time watching them clean the carpets, he is as friendly as can be so he was highly interested as to what these two men were doing in our house on random Thursday morning! I would happily have Stanley Steemer back into our house to clean, they mentioned that they also cleaned tile, rugs and furniture!

Lulu had a few accidents when we first got her because she was really nervous settling into a new home/routine. Fortunately she never hit the rugs, only the hardwood.
We bought Nature’s Miracle for the spots. I don’t know how it would work on carpet but it worked great for wood. We are going to keep it on hand in case she ever throws up or has an accident due to medical issues or something. I guess even an older dog can have stuff happen. Better be safe than sorry!
I’d have all the carpet in the condo cleaned–our Labs have had a variety of accidents that could use a good steam!
Nicole, you are the winner!
I would love to give this as a gift to my parents. They have 2 chihuahuas that like to eat bones everywhere on the carper, so it leave little spots, not to mention wear and tear and something to get all the pet hair and dander up!
With 4 kids, 2 under the age of 4 and white flipping burbur carpet I NEED my carpet cleaned!!
Oh I so would totally have my 1 room of carpet + a hallway cleaned!!!
Jo isn’t so bad but the boys and St.Bernard have stained the carpet. I need the whole house done. Colton is just so cute and disaterous at the same time! And he loves to let the dog in muddy feet or not. And we aren’t talking cute Bo feet either! haha
i don’t need to be entered to win. we basically had all the wall to wall carpetting removed from our house after years of pet and kid abuse. now i just have area rugs!
I’d have the living room cleaned because it’s covered in ground in cereal bars and yogurt puddles. Ick.
I’ve considered having our carpets done a few times (we only have 2 rooms with it), but always avoid it because of having to move the furniture. But with cats and white carpet (seriously why the previous owner picked this color is beyond me) I would totally have the living room done!
