Before you even start to scan through this post. I have zero news about my closely guarded secret that I can share with you. Like I said, I am horrible at keeping secrets, but this is one that has to be kept. But I am getting more and more excited and nervous with each passing day truth be told.
On Monday afternoon I was on my knees for over an hour in the basement of a building.
Now get your mind out of the gutter and this is what I was staring at when I was on my knees:
I was taking a CPR/AED refresher course. My building on campus just had an AED installed and we were taking a training on how to save lives, should the situation arise. Plus, having two small kids at home I’m sure CPR is a handy thing to know.
Here is what an AED looks like:
You don’t have to be specially trained to use one, the directions are read aloud to you after you turn it on, it is incredibly easy to use. Plus they said that it greatly improves the chance of living vs. just giving CPR. So that’s a good thing I would think.
Other than CPR training I have been hard at work not exercising and not sticking to my diet. No, its not a diet…its a lifestyle change. I have just been having my lifestyle change include a lot of Girl Scout cookies and extra helpings of trail mix. My lifestyle needs to get back to its minimalistic/intuitive state where I only eat when I am hungry, and not because I am bored out of my mind eating or nervous eating. Even though boredom eating is fun and all, I can feel my stomach start require more and more food so I need to put the kibosh on it.
Jeff told me yesterday that I am that crazy lady that posts too many pictures of Bo on facebook. *sigh* I figured people would think I had gone overboard with love for my dog, but that is not the case. He is just too cute to not take pictures of constantly. You know the feeling? So to answer the crazy dog lady comment I have this…a cute picture collage that I just made of Bo. Side note – this is now my desktop screen at work. Overboard with love for my dog….not even!

Jeff needs to realize that I am now the best person in the house to be nice to, now that I am certified in CPR again. If we have an epidemic, and I am available to save lives, he needs to make sure that he is on my good side by not making fun of my picture taking. Right Jeff? Either way, he’s near the top of my list. Right after Bo of course.

it’s hard to kick the girl scout cookies to the curb…tis the season for them! my favs are thin mints but tagalongs are also muy bien.
I’ve been (somehow) telling myself it is okay to eat multiple cadbury creme eggs in one sitting…like that is a normal thing.
Stupid candy and cookies.
