About Amanda

Welcome to There Are Two Sides, my name is Amanda Schwartz.
I just turned 30 in September, 2011 and I am pretty sure that life will get much better from here on out. Right? RIGHT?
I give to you what I can offer on my blog…run on sentences, over use of commas, lots of swearing and my dislike for most things.

I live in NW Ohio and generally love the area.
I also happen to live in the 6th flattest county in the USA, hills have been extinct here since the ice age. I am divorced and living in a lot of sin. It seems to ooze from my pours on most days.
Jeff is a giant and he has two giant kids, Carah (age 7) and Brady (age 4). I don’t have any of my own but my cats think I am pretty cool when they aren’t puking.
Occasionally I may talking about eating healthy or not so healthy, running, the people in my life and marshmallows. I am a new-ish runner, started at the end of 2010, and I ran my first half marathon in April 2011. Got a medal and everything. I am what I like to call a slow runner. Or jogger. But jogger doesn’t have the adventurous ring to it that runner has. So I stick with slow runner. I have a few more races planned for this year, too. I am going to try to be a less-slow runner.
I like to tell you about everything that is going on in my life. Over-sharing seems to be what gets me through the day. It also gets me some scary looks from strangers and my family.
I was recently named the FitFluential Ambassador for Toledo, Ohio.
Working full time, running a family part time and trying to blog all about it wear me out…wine and fruit roll ups get me through it all.
